Saving Lives both Spiritually and Physically

This week was defiantly a memorable week for me, saving lives both spiritually and physically.

Where to begin...
This week was interesting! We have been working hard preparing Victors baptism and most importantly him.

Friday morning was a day that is note worthy. In the morning we biked to President Thakoor's house to get the church keys and start setting up for the baptism. After we finish there we make our way to our next appointment. On our way we bike around a corner and we see a man lying on the ground and he begins to have a cesure. He then rolled face down into a trench which is a ditch with water in it. Its what they use for a sewage system but this one fortunately wasn't a nasty one and wasn't very deep. We quickly jumped off our bikes ran over and with the help of another guy we pulled him out. Some ladies that were selling things around there were then able to help him out a little.

Later that day we got a phone call from Elder Haake asking us if we saw anything suspicious at the church because it had been broken into and the speaker we have the mic system hooked up to in the sacrament hall was stolen. The police weren't able to come to the church until 9 the next day to investigate and it was around 5 pm at this time so we needed to get someone who president Thakoor trusted enough to look after the building. The only person who would do it was Victor but he had to be at work by 8 am. He came and guarded the building until President Thakoor could release him in the morning. He worked the half day and then came to his baptism at 2:30. The baptism went really well and so did church even without a speaker. I would send some pictures but we forgot our SD card reader. Sorry!
