Time is Flying

Time is flying. Everything is going well here.

I have not seen moko jumbie dancers like you asked but I do know jumbie means like a demon or a scary ghost.

We had zone conference on Friday and then Berbice just had its district conference at the Canje building so i got to see all of the members  there. It was really nice. It was a lot of fun. There is a lot of work here too do. The church needs more help here. We got some more news on Trinidad. Right now there are 6 missionaries there. By October there will be 4 and by the new year there will be no missionaries there. The mission will still be called the Trinidad Port of Spain mission. The sad part is they won't even let Missionaries from Trinidad serve there. There was 2 sisters from Trinidad who had to be reassigned.

I'm really glad Brandon did so well on his assignment. Tell him we could use his help here especially in Berbice. The good news about Trinidad closing is that Guyana will get all of those missionaries. This week was special because we had zone conference and district conference. After district conference I stayed a little longer in Canje and was able to do the baptismal interview for for Prakesh. I taught him all of the lessons but finally his parents are allowing him to be baptized. I am really excited for that. His baptism is set for May 5th. In his interview he said he knew Joseph Smith was a prophet because he read the book of mormon and prayed about it and felt good. He says when he goes to church he feels refreshed. I'm excited for him! I love you all!
